The fall is focused to overall strength and conditioning. The winter is focused on event specific training and “all-comers” competition. All-comers track meets are for all ages; this season is perfect for beginners and athletes new to track and field. The spring and summer is the official youth track and field season with competitions as late as July. (Ages 8-17*)
Multiple sport athletes are welcome. Athletes playing club soccer, baseball, tennis, etc. are still encouraged to still join. Depending on the event(s) an athlete is competing in, it is possible to compete then head to your other sport on the same day. We will compete on the USA Track and Field circuit competing against some of the nation’s best competition.

Year-round Training Program It’s highly encouraged that athletes train with the LEAP Squad in the off-season to continue to develop and grow within the sport. It’s also great for any sport athlete to go through a structured, progressive off-season training to develop the motor skills and proper movement of an athlete.
Summer Base Training (July-August): Athletes will develop overall strength, training mirrors a youth boot camp.
Fall conditioning (September-November): We progress to high intensity workouts, jump training, and cardiovascular conditioning.
Winter all-comers season (December-February): Athlete workouts shift to a mixture of high intensity training. Winter season is focused on high school aged athletes to enhance their in-competition abilities. Youth and high school ages will be competing together.
Youth season (March-July): Athletes will be competing against their ages within a 1-2 year age group.
